BACKGROUND: It is known that vaccination may be required to stop the COVID-19 pandemic. Many researchers conducted studies in high-income countries to assess people's acceptance of new vaccines, and there were variations in people's acceptance. However, the requirements of COVID-19 vaccines in Gulf Cooperative countries and especially in Oman are less studied. Oman may have less capacity to introduce COVID-19 vaccines because COVID-19 vaccines considered to be new vaccines.
